The tour's stop in Ethiopia is coming to a climax. There is going to be an all-day workshop in Addis Ababa later today where the delegation is to present its experiences and highlights from the past few days after having visited project sites in and around Bahir Dar in Amhara State and Adama, Oromiya Region.

Great opportunity
With the participation of some key Ethiopian NGOs working in the field of non-formal education and child labour prevention, should present a great opportunity for exchange of ideas on how to deal with the situation where some 40 to 60 per cent of children are said to be engaged in child labour in this country.

Common ground
Judging from previous discussions the delegation has had with some of the NGO's representatives, a common ground could be found after all, even when taking into account the tough reality which seems to be conducive to child labour in Ethiopia.
