Dear Mr. Venkat, I hope that you are recovering and getting sufficient rest after your east african tour on the campaign to stop child labor. Your hard work and effort in the campaign to stop child labor will positively impact many lives. The campaign's network gives children and families in Africa expanded educational opportunities they are yearning for. Thank you for providing me with great information on NGO's in Africa, through this informative website. The work of these organizations improves the lives of children in their respective countries. All of the organizations do great work. The Ugandan NGO, Kids In Need from Kamugisa's life story is interesting. Best, Kendra Pierre

Dear all, So delighted that the tour was concluded with such measure of success and that many opportunities are opening for many of those who have benefited from the excercise. I will return to Uganda next week on Friday and then together with my colleagues continue to work on the strategy for child labor in Uganda. The visit of Venkat in particular was of great help to the campaign and hope the Minister who took the campaign definition of child labor to be incorporated in the Ugandan law will also keep his promise. We are full of enthusiasm about taking a new turn in the combat of child labor in Uganda. It would be a good thing to keep the fire burning while most people still recall what went on during the tour. Hoping to discuss more when I am in Uganda. Very kind regards, Wakizira Christopher (KIN Director)

Please stop child labour because it is so dangerous for the children, they work long hours and get hardly any money for it then they cant get educated and cant get a good job, if this carries on there will be no end to poverty or child labour. It is like slavery because the child can not give up the job because they need what little money they get. Young children should not work long hours and should not be allowed to work in the unhealthy atmosphere that they are forced to work in, the long hours just mean the children get more and more tired and have less and less energy each day, if you just started off by creating a law that prevented children from working more than 6 hours a day they may still have an education. You may think ,oh they can go to school in the evening , but have you ever tried to learn when you are exhausted, it is incredibly hard. I hope you see my point and think about what more you can do to end child labour. Thankyou
