Dear Friends, I hope you all had a restful period after the hectic Africa Tour against child labour. It was a great campaign by all means and , more importantly, it was a campaign to unite people for a common cause. This cause remains a relevant issues in our communities that need to be tackled head-on by all of us. To those who travelled to Brussels for the final meeting with EU delegates, I hope you had a fruitful engagement. We will sure hope to capitalize on the gains from that meeting. In Zimbabwe, we are following up on the meetings that we made during the tour and we are beginning to put together important synergies, but we would like to forge closer links with our counterparts in Morocco, Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda and see if at this level we can meet again to explore further opportunities. We would also like to produce some thing close to a best practice and come January 2009, we will be vigorously pursuing this dream. Further to promises made by the ILO to work with us in one of their projects, we have also received offers from Plan-International for a collaboration in the 'Bridge School' concept. We have yet to explore how best we can work with Carpenum Trust, a private sector initiative that is currently reaching out to 20 000 children with school support programs. We will continue to look for inspiration from MV Foundation, Asamaan and SNE because you have been in these programs. Thank you and best regards! Pascal (CACLAZ Coordinator)

please stop child labour because when I watch the news on TV, the children all look very sad. Children should be happy and get education. It is not their fault that they have to work, so we should try and help
